Starting a Nightline

Collaborate with Nightline Europe to launch a Nightline

Why take action?

Mental health challenges among higher education students are real: 40% of EU students experience mental health or well-being difficulties, and 1 in 5 shows signs of a mental disorder (EUA 2022).

Since 1970, when the first Nightline was launched in Essex, over 70 Nightlines have been created worldwide, all driven by student-led initiatives. Many started locally, while others were inspired by volunteers from abroad, often without any guide.
