Förderinitiative Nightlines Deutschland e.V. was founded in 2009 as a non-profit association, based in Germany. The organisation, run by volunteers, brings together members around the core values and best practice of the Nightline service to students in Germany and Switzerland.

NiteLine in Ireland is a registered charity and was established in 1993 by the Students’ Unions of Trinity College Dublin and University College Dublin. Over the last 30 years, Niteline in Ireland has expanded to 11 colleges across Ireland.

Nightline Association UK (NLA UK) was established in 2005 to help individual Nightlines across the UK in their development and provision of services to students. The organisation unfortunately had to close in the summer of 2025 for lack of funding, but it is worth noting that prior to closure, it played an important role in supporting new and existing UK Nightlines throughout their journey.
